 
Channelling the punk sprit of 1977, GERLING have written, recorded and done most of the producing on BADBLOOD!!! in their infamous G.E.R.L.O.G. studios in sunny, downtown Alexandria, Sydney, with a do.it.yrself attitude and style. From the anarchy symbol spray painted on the studio wall in $3 red spray paint, to the barely working, second hand, speak and spell in the corner, G.E.R.L.O.G. studio epitomises the new album. <p> The sound of 'BadBlood!!!' is more refined - there's no guest vocalists this time! Gerling wanted to be able to perform their songs live with accuracy! They wanted to write an album that sounded like they sound live. More abrasive, darker and punk than their last record.... Punk in the true sense of the movement, the movement that started in 1977, not what it has become today: a watered down shitty global commodity. Punk music you can dance too.... that's exactly what 'BadBlood!!!' is. <p> Featuring the wacked out electro of "Who's Ya Daddy?", as well as the current noisy, spiky, antagonistic, punk-disco, newwave rock anthem - "Get Activated", BadBlood!!! is a lot more abrasive than the last album, a return to the band's electro/guitar/punk roots. Future rock and roll? Punk dance music!
