Kenny G's 9th studio album, Classics In The Key Of G, is his homage to the great musicians and songwriters of the 20th Century. Included are standards from Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Burt Bacharach and Thelonius Monk. Also included is a 'duet' with Louis Armstrong performing What A Wonderful World. The album was recorded in a live setting with some of the best session musicians, including Nathan East, Greg Phillinganes and Paulinho Da Costa. Production duties were handled by David Foster and Walter Afanasieff.
