Length: More than 1 Hour Number of Participants: 1 Over 4 consecutive weeks and for 2 hours per night you and up to 16 other interested people will gain the tools to appreciate wine like never before. You receive 6 International standard tasting glasses, a course booklet and a wine aroma wheel to take home and continue the experience. Each evening you will be tutored by an industry professional who will guide you through the course. 6 wines are tasted per evening and student participation should be expected. In lesson 1 you will be shown how to use your sense of sight, smell and taste to grade a wine. In lesson 2 students will learn why wines cost what they do, who makes all the money. We also cover grape growing, wine making and marketing. Evening 3 gives students a chance to concentrate on white wines, styles and varietals as well as the white wine making process. Lesson 4 covers red wines again styles and varietals as well as the extra techniques that are used when making red wines. After completion of the course you will enjoy a new knowledge and enrichment from your wines. Impress your friends and clients with your new wine knowledge. Learn how to; conduct sensory evaluation on wines, match your favourite dishes to a top drop and get an insight into your favourite varietals and styles all in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
